​Note: Tom Yabney was on the Hanna Miners' Monument in the Hanna cemetery as killed in the Hanna mines in 1971. He was in fact not killed but injured. He did not die from those injuries. It is not known what happened to Tom after the injuries. (BL)

Note: Obituary: Mamie E. Yockey, a lifetime resident of Hanna, died at Carbon County Memorial Hospital Friday afternoon. She was born in Hanna June 15, 1908 and lived here all her life until she moved to Park Manor Nursing Home in Rawlins in October of last year. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Yockey, in 1979. She is survived by a brother, John Wakkuri of Elk Mountain and other relatives. Funeral services were held Monday at 1 p.m. at Isburg-Shriner Mortuary Chapel in Rawlins with the Rev. Ray Scott officiating. Graveside services followed Monday at the Hanna cemetery.
