Samuel "Sam" While was born March 29, 1904 in Netherton, Dudley, Worcestershire, England. He married Thomasina Dickenson on August 27, 1927 in Ogden, Utah. He died February 15, 1977 in Colusa, California and was buried in College City Cemetery near Arbuckle, California.
Thomasina "Tommy" (Dickenson) While was born June 5, 1908 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Elizabeth (Jackson) and Samuel "Sam" Dickenson. She passed away on February 27, 1981 in Pleasant Hill, California. She was 72 years old at her time of death.
1929
Samuel "Sam" While was the eldest son of James While, killed in the Hanna No. 4 mine on January 19, 1921. Sam was in the mine with his father when his father was killed. He married Thomasina Dickenson in Hanna. Their daughter Elizabeth was born June 5, 1928 in Hanna, Wyoming.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam While and daughter left for Berkley, California where they will reside permanently. (UPCCEM, Sept. 1029)
1939
Mr. and Mrs. Sam While and children of Berkeley, California, motored to Hanna for Memorial Day and spent a few weeks visiting relatives and friends. On their return, Mrs. Eliza While accompanied them, and will visit there for some time. (UPCCEm, July 1938)
