Life Story

1946 June 12: Carolyn Jean Buckingham was born in Hanna, Wyoming to Francis (While) and Richard Buckingham.
1965 June 19: Carolyn and James "Jim" Miller were married in Hanna, Wyoming.
2016 November 10: Carolyn (Buckingham) Miller died in Rapid City, South Dakota. She was buried in Sundance, Wyoming.
Carolyn was born to Richard and Frances Buckingham in Hanna, Wyoming where she attended primary and secondary schools. After high school graduation, she attended the University of Wyoming earning a degree in Elementary Education. While at UW, she met her future husband, and they were married on June 19, 1965. Carolyn and her husband lived in Sundance, WY since 1974 where they raised two children. She loved music, painting, teaching, reading books, camping, watching the Broncos, and traveling with her husband.

She is survived by her husband; two children; two brothers; four grandchildren.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Buckingham and Frances Duffey, stepfather, Basil Duffey and her brother, John.
