1903 Explosion of Hanna Mine No. 1
​Letter from Earle Holmes to Wilson Gobble


Earle I. Holmes was a clerk in the Union Pacific Coal Company in Hanna at the time of the 1903 explosion. He sent the following letter to Wilson Gobble describing the explosion.
