Elizabeth (Roberts) Cox and her husband Richard were long-time residents of Carbon. They had three children, Joseph, Jane, and Robert. Her husband Richard Cox and grandson Charles, son of Joseph Cox, are buried in the Carbon Cemetery in graves 110 and 111. Her son Joseph Cox was responsible for developing the No. 1 and No. 2 mines in Hanna. Her daughter Jane lived in Rock Springs most of her adult life. Her son Robert Cox lived in Carbon then Hanna until his death in 1929. (Image provided by Mary Beth Simmons-Sierer)
