He was a member of the Masonic Order and The Union Pacific Coal Company Old Timers Association.
Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church on May 22, and interment in Hanna cemetery, Rev. A. Maxwell officiating.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Jones and Mrs. James Cameron of Sinclair, Wyoming, and one son, James Campbell of Hanna, and seven grandchildren. (Employees Magazine, 1945)
